Natural-light-everywhere is the architectural feature; the outdoor garden in the back is the social one. Standard 4-6-bed dorms plus en-suite private doubles and triples. Bolhão metro is 10 minutes' walk. The trade-off: a 15-minute walk to Ribeira instead of 5, in exchange for waking up where Porto locals actually live.
What to book: A bed in a 4-6-bed mixed dorm, or the en-suite double if you're traveling with someone. The garden is what to use after a day out — bring a bottle of vinho verde.
