The reception staff are the differentiator — Lígia, Vasco, and the team genuinely walk you through where to eat and what to see, the kind of help that makes a 3-night stay feel like a 7-night one. Honest cut: Part of the Shiadu chain (Lisbon + Porto + Seville), but a small enough group that the properties still feel individually run. The other Porto Shiadu is Jardim da Batalha — different building, same approach. What to book: A Superior Double with a window overlooking the quiet internal patio — slightly bigger than the standard, much quieter.
