About
The 1692-founded port house across the river is the standard introduction to port wine — proper cellars, a guided tour, a tasting of three port styles, and a terrace overlooking Porto with arguably the best photo angle of the city. €25 for the standard tour-and-tasting, takes 90 minutes. Better than the bigger Sandeman experience nearby, less crowded than the famous Graham's. Walk over the Dom Luís I bridge to get there. What to order: The €25 vintage tasting, or €40 if you want to try a tawny that's been ageing since you were born.
