About
The only taco stand in the world with a Michelin star — a 10-by-10-foot standing-room shop that's been in San Rafael since 1968 doing four cuts of grilled steak on handmade tortillas with salt, lime, and morita salsa. No tables, no chairs, no menu beyond gaonera, bistec, chuleta, and costilla. Since the Michelin star, lines run two to three hours and the surrounding shop owners act as runners and seat you in their stores. Worth it once for the pilgrimage; not worth a return for routine eating.
