Lisbon has a Mediterranean climate — mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. June through September is almost completely dry with temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s°F. Winter (Dec–Feb) is cool and wet but rarely below 45°F.

The shoulder months (April–May, September–October) are the sweet spot: warm enough for outdoor life, cheap enough to enjoy it. November through February brings most of the rain — pack waterproof layers if you're visiting then.
