The main drag for late-night partying in Lisbon — bars morph into clubs around 1am and keep going until sunrise. It's got more of a party vibe than Bairro Alto and draws a dense tourist crowd. Higher prices but if you're looking for a proper night out, this is where it happens.
the street itself is well-lit and busy, but the very high tourist concentration and late-night crowd makes it prime territory for bag snatching and drink spiking. Keep your drink in your hand at all times, use a crossbody bag worn in front, and arrange your taxi home before you need it rather than trying to hail one on the street at 3am. The venues themselves are generally safe; the street between them requires awareness.
