About
A Victorian-era house turned social guest house 0.8km from the city centre, in the quieter residential pocket between De Waterkant and the CBD. The rooms are named after freedom fighters, musicians, and activists — each decorated by a different international artist, so no two feel the same. The garden, pool, and library give it a pace that most city-centre hostels don't manage. Two dedicated female-only dorms (4–6 beds, en-suite, private bathroom with direct room access) alongside six standard double privates and three mixed dorms. Free breakfast daily, fast WiFi throughout, private lockers in all dorms. The female dorm bathroom being inside the room — accessed directly, not shared with a corridor — is a specific detail worth noting; it removes one of the standard friction points of dorm life.
Not a party hostel; quiet hours from 11pm. (dorms from ~€20 / R370; privates from ~€42 / R770)
