La Boca (beyond the colorful Caminito tourist strip) - Very touristy by day but avoid after dark or wandering off the main path. Southern neighborhoods: Barracas, Pompeya, Lugano, Liniers, parts of Parque Patricios - higher crime, not tourist-oriented. Microcentro/Downtown at night - Can feel empty and lonely after offices close; better to take an Uber back. Any isolated or poorly lit streets, parks, or train stations after dark.
