Tip
Most tourists (citizens of ~97 countries, including US, UK, Canada, Australia, EU, etc.) qualify for B1 Visa on Arrival (VoA / e-VoA) Valid for 30 days (including arrival day). Extendable once for another 30 days (total 60 days max) at an immigration office. Cost: IDR 500,000 (~USD 32–35).
e-VoA (recommended): Apply online in advance via the official site only (evisa.imigrasi.go.id). Faster airport processing, skip queues, and works at Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) in Bali. Takes ~5–10 minutes; print or save QR code.
On-arrival VoA: Available at the airport if you don’t apply online (same fee and validity).
Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from arrival date.
Required documents: Return/onward ticket.
Proof of accommodation (sometimes requested).
Bali Tourist Levy (mandatory for all foreign visitors): IDR 150,000 (~USD 10) — pay online or on arrival (separate from visa fee).
