One of the founding members of the Greek Youth Hostel Organization and open continuously for over 50 years — which in Athens hostel terms is essentially ancient history. Family-run, with a manager who speaks English, Spanish, and Italian and treats every guest accordingly.
Located in Pangrati, one of Athens' safest and most genuinely residential neighborhoods, 15 minutes' walk from Syntagma and 12 minutes from the Panathenaic Stadium. Garden, terrace, kitchen, laundry, female-only dorm rooms, and a social atmosphere that draws long-stay backpackers back year after year. A kitchen curfew applies at 23:00. Dorm only — no private rooms.
